Every California Southern Baptist church should have received a California Mission Offering Promotion Packet that included a 2009 CMO DVD.

Included on the DVD is a segment, in English and Spanish, by Fermín A. Whittaker, California Southern Baptist Convention Executive Director, challenging California Southern Baptists to pray, give and go concerning California missions and the California Mission Offering.

Also included on the DVD are eight segments featuring eight CSBC missionaries and one director of missions.

Most of the segments are less than two minutes in length. Choose the segments for your worship services during the month of September to help your congregation learn how their gifts to the California Mission Offering are used to fund projects to start churches and help churches spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, thereby providing love with action.

The DVD is ideal for use in worship and prayer services, Sunday School classes and mission organizations. Members in your congregation will be able to learn much about California missions and how Southern Baptists cooperate to show the love of Christ with our actions.

If your church didn't receive a DVD, it can be ordered online. There are a limited number of DVDs available since they were mailed to all churches.
